Team overview
What a Team workspace adds to your Pegasus account.
A Team workspace lets several Pegasus users work inside the same workspace. Members can chat with shared bots, owners can manage seats and invitations, and team usage is reported separately from Personal usage.
When you see a team
You only see a team after you have been added to one. If the app says "No active team workspace", switch back to Personal or ask the team owner for an invitation.
Share a bot with your team
Bots in a team workspace are Private by default - only the owner sees them. When the owner shares a bot, every team member sees it in their Dashboard and can chat with it.
This applies only inside Team workspaces. Bots in your Personal workspace cannot be shared - you'd add the recipient to a team instead.
How sharing works
Open the bot in a team workspace
Make sure the workspace switcher shows the team where the bot lives.
Click Share with team
On the bot detail page, the action is in the header area near the bot name.
Confirmation toast
"Bot shared with the team." The bot card now shows a "Shared" badge for everyone.
Click Stop sharing on the same bot to revert it to Private. Existing teammates lose access to it from their Dashboard view; conversations they started against this bot become read-only references, so no new messages can be sent there.
What teammates can do with a shared bot
- See it on their Dashboard with a "Shared" badge.
- Start conversations and chat.
- Read existing conversations they created.
Owner-only controls
Settings, documents, prompts, and the embed widget remain owner-only. Teammates cannot:
- Change name, description, or avatar.
- Upload or delete documents.
- Edit the system prompt.
- Enable or disable Max Mode.
- Configure the embed widget.
- Delete the bot.
The bot card shows "Owner managed" to make this clear to viewers.
Dashboard team views
A team Dashboard has three view filters:
- Private - bots in the current team that only the owner sees.
- Shared with me - team bots shared by other members.
- All team bots - owners only; shows every bot in the team regardless of share state.
Switching the view filter is purely a list filter; it does not change ownership or sharing state.
What owners can manage
- Team members and seats.
- Pending invitations.
- Team subscription state.
- Shared and owner-managed team bots.
What members can do
- Switch into the team workspace.
- Chat with bots shared by other team members.
- Use their assigned team seat quota.
- Read their own team conversations.
Members cannot manage team subscription, invite others, or change another user's bot settings.
Team vs Personal
| Area | Personal | Team |
|---|---|---|
| Bot ownership | Owned by you | Owned by a team member |
| Sharing | Not available | Owner can share with the team |
| Usage | Your personal quota | Team/workspace quota and relations |
| Invitations | Not needed | Owners invite members |
Team subscription state
The Subscription tab shows the entitlement applied to the current team workspace.
What you can see
- Subscription status: Active or Read-only.
- Seat count.
- Seats used by members and active invitations.
- Pending cancellation date, if any.
Request or revert cancellation
Owners can click Request cancellation. When cancellation is pending, the team can enter a read-only state until the cancellation date.
If the cancellation should not proceed, click Revert cancellation. Pegasus refreshes the team subscription and workspace state.
Read-only subscription state
When a team is read-only:
- Writes are paused.
- Existing members can still inspect state.
- Subscription, usage, and plan details remain visible.
- Chat or training actions may be blocked depending on the read-only reason.
