Sign up

You sign up once. Your account works for personal use immediately, and can join any number of teams later via invitations. You can create the account with Google or with an email/password form.

What you need#

• For Google sign-up: a Google account with a verified email address.
• For email/password sign-up: a work email you can read right now, plus a password at least 8 characters long.
• Your full name if you use the email/password form (shown to teammates if you join a team).

Steps#

1. Open the sign-up page

   Click Start for free on the landing page, or go directly to /register.

2. Choose a sign-up method

   Click Sign up with Google to let Google confirm your identity. Or enter your full name, email, and password, then click Create account.

3. Finish verification

   Google sign-up returns you to Pegasus after Google confirms the email. Email/password sign-up sends a 6-digit code to the email you provided; paste it into the verification screen within 10 minutes.

4. You're in

   After the account is verified, you're redirected to the Dashboard with an empty bot list and your free plan active.

Email verification#

Email verification applies to the email/password form. After you click Create account, Pegasus sends you to the email verification screen. Google sign-up uses Google's verified email signal, so you normally do not see the OTP screen.

Pegasus asks you to verify your email before the account is fully activated.

• It reduces fake-account spam.
• It confirms you can receive recovery and security emails.
• It lets team invitations find the correct account by email.

Code details#

• Length: 6 digits, numeric only.
• Expiry: 10 minutes from the moment we send it.
• Single use: once you verify successfully, the code is consumed.
• Resend cooldown: after a code is sent, Resend code stays disabled for a short countdown.

Enter the OTP code#

• Open the inbox for the email you just used and copy the 6-digit code.
• Type one digit into each slot, or paste the whole code into the first slot.
• As soon as all 6 digits are filled, Pegasus checks the code automatically. There is no extra confirm button.
• If the code is wrong or expired, the OTP field clears so you can try again.

If the code doesn't arrive#

1. Check your spam folder

   Some mail providers classify the first automated email as spam.

2. Wait for the resend cooldown

   The button changes from Resend in s back to Resend code when the cooldown ends.

3. Click Resend code

   A new code is sent to the same email. The previous code stops working.

4. Still nothing after a few minutes?

   The address may be incorrect, or your mail server may be rejecting the message. Start sign-up again with a different email you can access.

Common issues#

• "Email already exists" — you've registered before. Use Sign in instead, or Forgot password if you don't remember the password.
• "Google sign-in failed" — Pegasus could not complete the Google flow. Start again from the sign-up page.
• "Invalid or expired code" — the 10-minute window passed. Click Resend code to start over.
• "Verification session expired. Please register again." — you closed the tab or refreshed and Pegasus lost the temporary sign-up state. Start the sign-up flow again with the same email.
• "Missing email address. Please register again." — you refreshed or navigated away from the verification screen. Start the sign-up flow again.
