Invite members
Send a team invitation and reserve a seat for the recipient.
Team owners can invite new members from Team Management → Invitations.
Before inviting
Check available seats. Pegasus counts both active members and active invitations against team capacity. If all seats are occupied or reserved, the form shows: "All team seats are occupied by members or active invitations."
Send an invitation
Open Team Management
Switch to the team workspace, then open the Team page.Choose the Invitations tab
The Invite member card appears at the top.Enter the email
Use the exact address the member will use to sign up or sign in.Choose the seat
Pick Standard or Ultra, depending on the quota/features the member needs.Send
Click Send invite. Pegasus queues the invitation and reserves the seat.
Privacy of invite responses
Pegasus keeps the response generic to protect account privacy. The UI does not reveal whether the email already belongs to a Pegasus user.
What the recipient does
The recipient opens the invitation URL, signs in or signs up if needed, then explicitly accepts the invitation on the invite page.
→ Recipient guide: Accept a team invitation
Manage invitations after sending
Use Team Management → Invitations to see each invitation's lifecycle.
Invitation statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | The invitation is active and can still be accepted. |
| Accepted | The recipient accepted the link. |
| Assigned | The invitation has been assigned to a team member. |
| Expired | The invitation can no longer be accepted. |
| Cancelled | The owner cancelled the invitation. |
Resend an invitation
Click Resend on a Pending invitation. Pegasus sends another email and updates "Last sent" / "Sent" count.
Use resend when:
- The recipient cannot find the email.
- The original message was filtered by spam rules.
- You want to remind a member before expiry.
Cancel an invitation
Click Cancel to invalidate a Pending invitation and release its reserved seat. A confirmation modal shows the recipient email before the cancellation is applied.
Read-only teams
If the team is read-only, invitation actions are disabled. The list remains visible so owners can understand the current state.
Seats for team members
A seat controls the quota/features assigned to a team member. Owners can review seats from Team Management → Members.
Seat types
| Seat | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Standard | Normal team members who need shared-bot chat and regular quota. |
| Ultra | Members who need higher entitlements, such as heavier usage or advanced capabilities provided by the team plan. |
The exact limits come from the team subscription. If the plan changes, the displayed subscription and quota cards reflect the new limits.
Change a member seat
Open Members
Go to Team Management → Members.Click Change seat
Owners see this action for members they can manage.Pick the new seat
Choose Standard or Ultra, then click Save seat.
Pegasus refreshes members, billing, and workspace state after the change.
Reserved seats
Pending invitations reserve seats. The overview card shows how many seats are used by active members and how many are reserved by invitations.
Remove a member
Team owners can remove members from Team Management → Members. Removal is immediate.
What removal does
- The member loses access to the team workspace.
- Private team resources are no longer available to them.
- Shared team bots disappear from their Dashboard.
- Their team workspace chat actions stop working.
What removal does not do
- It does not delete the member's Pegasus account.
- It does not delete bots owned by other members.
- It does not remove the owner's personal workspace data.
Remove flow
Open Members
Go to Team Management → Members.Click Remove
The confirmation dialog explains that private team resources will no longer be available.
Confirm
Pegasus removes the membership and refreshes team state.
If the member is currently using the team, their app refreshes workspace access. They should be switched away from the team workspace or blocked from team-only actions.
